Overview

Our client seeks to employ the services of a Business Development Manager. The successful incumbent must be able to partner with multiple departments within the company and drive measurable results that will improve the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth within the business.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – explore new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Educate, lead and supervise members who are capable of being part of the business development team.
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with clients.
  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
  • Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
  • Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them.

Qualifications and Experience

The top 5 skills include: communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, research and strategy, business intelligence, and networking

  • Preferably a Master’s Degree in Business management with previous roles including Human Resources Management; Financial Management; Marketing.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Must have a good command of English and SiSwati language.
  • Must be trustworthy.
