Overview
Our client seeks to employ the services of a Business Development Manager. The successful incumbent must be able to partner with multiple departments within the company and drive measurable results that will improve the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth within the business.
- Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – explore new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Educate, lead and supervise members who are capable of being part of the business development team.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients.
- Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
- Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
- Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
Qualifications and Experience
The top 5 skills include: communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, research and strategy, business intelligence, and networking
- Preferably a Master’s Degree in Business management with previous roles including Human Resources Management; Financial Management; Marketing.
- Proven sales track record.
- Must have a good command of English and SiSwati language.
- Must be trustworthy.
