Our client, the Eswatini National Trust Commission (ENTC), is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, exposed candidates for the coveted executive positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidates will be responsible for the development of vibrant and innovative strategies to ensure the growth and sustainability of the ENTC.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (AMRSENTC/CE02020)

Main Purpose of the Job: Responsible for the successful implementation of the Eswatini National Trust Commission’s (ENTC) strategic objectives. The CEO and the Board shall jointly ensure the accomplishment of ENTC’s mission and vision while remaining accountable to its stakeholders. The incumbent will provide insightful direction that will empower the team and enable the Board to carry out its governance functions.

Responsibilities:

o Provide strategic leadership to the ENTC through dynamic strategy development and implementation.

o Resource mobilization and appropriation to support the organization’s programmes and financial sustainability.

o Ensure high performance of the organization through an empowering work environment and a motivated team.

o Financial Management and planning.

o Supervision of essential documents of the Board, management and/or any other committee of the Board.

o Assume complete charge of officers, employees, land and building, materials and any article or entity under the control of the Board.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

o Master’s degree in Environmental Resource Management, MBA or Equivalent.

o 10 years’ experience in a senior management position.

o Exposure to the environmental management space.

o Demonstrable strategy development and implementation experience.


CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (AMRSENTC/CF02020)

Main Purpose of the Job: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) shall have the fundamental responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the organization. This includes organizational accounting and finance, forecasting and strategic planning, job costing, legal and property management as well as the management of investor relationships. Under the supervision of the CEO, the incumbent will be accountable for deal analysis and negotiations for all private and institutional financing.

Responsibilities:

o Developing and implementation of finance strategies, policies and guidelines.

o Prepare quarterly reports and financial statements for approval by the Board.

o Participate in identifying potential business ventures, specifically: assisting the CEO in identifying new funding opportunities.

o Prepare and control the budget for the whole organization.

o Ensure adequate controls are developed, installed and reviewed with the substantiating documents made available for independent and government audits.

o Ensure compliance and accurate capturing of financial data and reports submitted to CEO and the Board.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

o Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related.

o ACCA or CIMA qualification will be an added advantage.

o 10 years’ experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.

o Strong decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills.
