Sebenta National Institute has a vacancy for Chief Executive Officer, which require suitably qualified and experienced candidates who are visionary and result driven. The candidate must be above average in leadership, communication negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills. Summary of Responsibilities

• Implementation of good enterprise governance principles.

• Provide guidance for policy development and implementation, advice and decision making support to the Board of Directors.

• Coordinate, direct and manage financial resources of Sebenta.

• Provide leadership in acquisition and retention of skills, development and performance of staff.

• Develop and submit specific recommendations to the parent ministry on Government policies which impact on Basic Literacy, Non-formal education (Primary & Secondary) and Vocational skills training.

• Custody of Sebenta’s physical resources.

• Provide professional guidance and supervision of all the functional departments.

• Transparency and internal control

• Communication. external affairs and corporate image

• Promote cooperative arrangements with stakeholders

Qualification & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Education or equivalent qualification. Preferably with a focus / experience in Adult Education.

• 104- years management experience.

• Demonstrated track record of success.
