A career opportunity is open for a suitably qualified and well experienced individual to join our Compliance team as a Compliance Analyst. This position reports to the Anti-Money Laundering Officer (AMLO) and is tenable at the head office, Mbabane.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As a Compliance Analyst you will be working within the compliance department to assist the team in institutionalizing a compliance culture across the Society:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Efficient identification and monitoring of customer transaction activities and appropriate escalations to internal structures
  • Conduct secondary review and clearing generated from sanctions screening of transactions from internal screening system
  • Identify hits which warrant additional research.
  • Escalate potential sanctions violations and/or reputational / financial risks accordingly and document resolution
  • Perform enhanced due diligence on high risk individuals and businesses, as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Economics, law or any relevant qualification
  • At least 1-year experience in a banking environment
  • Basic knowledge of Compliance and Risk Management

CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Manager Credit – MIS

A career opportunity is open for a suitably qualified and well experienced individual to join our Credit team as Manager Credit-MIS reporting to the Head of Credit. The position is tenable at our Head Office, Mbabane.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As Manager Credit-MIS, you will be responsible for providing credit reports as required by the Credit department, Credit Committee, Risk and Audit Committee, Board Credit Committee and the Main Board as well as Internal and External Auditors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Prepare a portfolio analysis of the loans and advances as required by the Head of Credit or other committees
  • Develop and present the Monthly Credit Dashboard
  • Participate in the calculation of provisions for the bank’s loans and advances
  • Prepare data analytics to be used in checking revenue leakages from loans and advances
  • Provide credit reports as per the regulators requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Post Graduate qualification would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in a banking environment in credit risk management and loan evaluation
  • Demonstrated successful experience in individual and commercial loan evaluation.
