Me’decins Sans Frontiers(MSF) Switzerland is an independent international humanitarian medical organisation working in over 80 countries worldwide. MSF provides disasters or exclusion from Healthcare MSF provides medical assistance to people affected by conflict karma epidemic, disasters,  or exclusion from Healthcare.  MSF teams are made up of tens of thousands of healthcare professionals,  logistics and administrative staff.  MSF actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality,  independencecy and neutrality.

In Eswatini, MSF  is providing most needed health care for the population of Shiselweni in the areas of HIV,  TB,  non-communicable diseases at COVID-19.

MSF is recruiting two nurses and two medical doctors, for a three-month contracts with a possible extension for the provision of COVID-19 in the Shiselweni- region.

Duty Station: Nhlangano

COVID-19 Nurse

Main Purpose

Provide COVID-19 nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients,according to the doctor’s prescriptions,,protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards or precautions,in order to ensure equality and the continuity of COVID-19 care for the targeted population.

Requirements 

Education

Essential recognized nursing degree/diploma.

Desirable Bachelor’s Degree in science of nursing

Experience

Desirable 2 years of experience, and previous experience in other NGOs

Demonstrate experience in supervising and training others in the team setting

Demonstrate experience in HIV, TB and NCD.

Languages:

 Essential fluent spoken and written English and siSwati.

Competencies

Results and quality orientation,teamwork and cooperation,flexibility,stress management.

Willing to travel long distance and work long hours.

COVID-19 Medical Doctor

Main Purpose

In collaboration with the medical team,the covid-19 medical doctor implements and monitors medical activities related to convert 19 k and supervise the COVID-19 according to the medical guidelines and SOPs.

Requirements

Education

Medical Doctor diploma in tropical medicine.

Experience

2 years experience minimum as a Medical Doctor,and must be registered with the Eswatini Medical and Dental Council.

Desirable:

Tropical medicine, or post registration experience in public health, obs and gynae, pediatric, infection infectious disease, HIV and AIDS STDs, TB, ,general practice general medicine or minor surgery.

Languages

English Language is essential and local language is desirable.

Competencies

People management, , commitment, flexibility,results,,oriented,teamwork, willing to travel long distances and work long hours,diplomacy.
