Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the vacant position of Customer Services Officer in the Corporation.


To provide customer support services for the Corporation, promoting the Corporation’s image, acting as a key link between the Corporation and its customers, giving value adding feedback to both parties.


  • 3 years Diploma in Marketing
  • Two (2) years practical experience in a Customer Service Environment
  • Computer literacy


  • A working knowledge of universal customer service principles and best practice
  • Knowledge of product and/or services marketing
  • Knowledge of Billing Systems and Cycles
  • Good customer relations management – maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing customer complaints
  • Good customer service/customer care
  • Ability to provide high quality responses to Customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate to a wide range of audience both in siSwati and English
  • Basic negotiation and presentation skills
  • Analytical thinking ability
  • A proactive approach to work
  • Adherence to set standards, policies and procedures
  • Experience working in a large public utility will be an added advantage


  • Effective time management
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Prompt and proper feedback to customers
  • Availability of an accurate and up to date customer database
  • Timeous resolution of customer queries in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintenance of an up to date register of all application forms
  • Track progress of Customer Application forms
