Position requirements: High school certificate is preferred. A valid driver’s license. At least five years’ driving experience. Clean driving record. Sound knowledge of road safety regulations. Extensive knowledge of the operating area (roads and routes). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Good verbal communication. Punctual and reliable. Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals. Having worked for International Organisations /Diplomatic Services will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.

• Carry out driving duties as instructed by the person designated as substitute.

• Ensure safety of Project staff through routine check-ups on a daily basis concerning fuel, water, oil and other fluids, tyre pressure on vehicle and any appropriately report damage/ repair requirements to Administration for immediate action.

• Suggest and report on appropriate services or repairs, and arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.

• Ensure good working condition for vehicles equipment and accessories.

• Promptly report to Administration and complete necessary documentation any accident or driving incident including even minor ones.

• Observe all road traffic regulations, including the wearing of seat belts whilst ensuring that (s)he is in possession of a driving license when on driving duties at all times.

• Maintain an organized travel schedule and log official trips, daily mileage, oil changes and greasing.

• Update monthly mileage records.

• Interact with clients in professional conduct.

• Provide assistance and other support services to official activities and perform other tasks as may be assigned.

• Any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor
