It is hard to believe that today an estimated one in ten people still don’t have clean, safe water and one in three live without adequate sanitation. The resulting disease kill one child every minute. WaterAid is looking for a Finance Manager to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) through our Programme in Eswatini.

Based in Mbabane, the role will provide efficient financial management services and strategic leadership for the finance function of WaterAid Eswatini, ensures the application of WaterAid financial policies and procedures in collaboration with other members of the Country Management Team, South Africa Regional Team and various UK teams. The post holder will champion and support the delivery of good financial management and stewardship both within WaterAid Eswatini and partner organisations. The position holder reports to the Country Director for Eswatini and will be a member of the Senior Country Management Team with line management responsibility for all finance and IT functions in the Country programme. The position will be based in WaterAid Office in Mbabane, Eswatini and may require periodic travel to the districts where WaterAid currently works to support partners as well as other Country offices in the South-ern Africa region as and when the need arises.
