Internal Auditor

The Job

Reporting to the internal Audit Manager, the key responsibilities will include, Inter aila:

  • To plan and design audit programs according to internal audit methodology and internal Professional Standards for internal Auditing
  • To perform Audit Test in accordance with internal audit methodology and international professional standards for internal auditing
  • To compile findings, reports, recommendations and present audit reports to management.
  • To advise management on proper internal controls and Governance processes.
  • To monitor and advise on legislation compliance and follow Audit reviews.
  • To review Tender Board resolutions.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate must possess the following attributes;

  • A Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting or Equivalent.
  • A minimum of three [31] years’ experience in auditing in external or internal Auditing environment.
  • ACCA or CIA qualification an added advantage.
  • Experience within an ICT environment.
  • Standards of Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
  • Working knowledge and experience in risk management, corporate governance ad Audit methodologies.

Senior Manager Supply Chain and Logistics

The Job:

Reporting to the General Manger Finance, the key responsibilities will include, inter alia:

  • To develop procurement, inventory management and fleet management strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • To lead and manage the supply chain and logistics staff ensuring skills development and resourceful-ness.
  • To develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • To manage the EPTC procurement process; sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors to ensure quality of supplies; negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • To review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • To establish and maintain lasting relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • To oversee the acquisition of goods within EPTC and ensuring the management of purchase orders and delivery of goods and services.
  • To evaluate and conduct risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • To manage the procurement budget and implement cost effective strategies on procurement.
  • To develop and oversee inventory management strategies and processes, ensuring efficiency of service delivery at cost effective means.
  • To develop, and oversee the effectiveness of fleet management strategies, ensuring effective leasing and developing new means of replenishing fleet.
  • To prepare, conduct analysis of procurement and logistics reports for presentation to Executive Committee.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate must possess the following attributes;

  • A Post graduate qualification in Supply Chain management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement management/Business Management or equivalent
  • Five years’ experience in procurement and logistics management.
  • Management and leadership skills
