Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of IT Network Administrator which currently exists in our organization. The position reports to the Director Information and Communication Technology.

Job Summary

To ensure that the Fund’s network infrastructure, corporate systems, computer hardware and operating systems are functional ago and operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and implement IT network solutions for the Fund
  • Configure and monitor key network elements such as switches, hubs, routers, firewalls and VPNs
  • Quick resolution of all network problems
  • Operate and manage the virtual server infrastructure
  • Install and maintain all proprietary applications and operating systems
  • Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations for business continuity
  • Ensure implementation of security protocols (logical and physical) in all IT applications and systems
  • Conduct user training and provide service delivery on IT operations and general computer usage

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate IT related field (Computer Science or equivalent)
  • 3 years’ work experience in an IT Network Administration environment
  • Working knowledge of databases management and the SQL language
  • Professional certification in IT Networks an added advantage
