Job Title: Manager – Information and Knowledge Management Centre

Division: National Executive Director’s Division

Department: Communications – Information and Knowledge Management Centre

Key Function: To manage the operation of the Information and Knowledge Management Centre by availing Information, Education and Communication materials and knowledge resources (IEC) on HIV and AIDS

Key Performance Areas:

I. Information & Knowledge management Centre operations

II. Resource Mobilization

III. Discussion Forums

IV. Online Content Management

V. Budget Management

VI. Clearing house

VII. Decentralization of information centre services

VIII. Reporting

IX. Staff Management

Skills:

  • Research, analytical and gap identification
  • Networking and Customer care
  • Staff supervision
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Report writing, presentation and facilitation
  • Planning and organizing
  • Computer literacy

Required Education/Qualifications:

  • Minimum; Degree in Library Science or knowledge management and or Degree in journalism
  • Certificate in Public Health or Social Development as an added advantage
    Minimum;
  • 5 years’ experience in Librarianship or Social Behavior communication
  • 5 years’ experience in HIV &AIDS in Eswatini
  • Knowledge of electronic, print and digital media

Added Advantage: 

  • Working with all Sectors in the HIV response and all Government Ministries and institutions of higher learning
  • Working with the media and various stakeholders in communities
