The Eswatini Breast and Cervical Cancer Network (EBCCN) is inviting seasoned and experienced candidates to apply for the positions below that are available in the organization;


Planning and providing medical and nursing care to communities with focus on early Cancer screening, diagnosis, referral and linkage to Health care. Reports directly to the Programs Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and provide Community Outreach and home based palliative care health services to clients in the region of assignment.
  • Represents EBCCN in I stakeholders’ forums and meetings.
  • Liaise with health Facilities and Psychosocial Support Officer to facilitate the provision of comprehensive community care services.
  • Work as a team player in planning and carrying out individualized client care
  • Establish a good working relationship with other stakeholders and hospitals in the region Advise clients and relatives on aspects of care and the safe management of all medication in use
  • Ensure professional practices at all times.
  • Submit monthly progress reports

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with
  • 2-5 years’ community nursing experience
  • Orientation in Palliative care will be preferred
  • Must be registered and an active member of the Eswatini Nursing Council
  • Must have a valid driver’s license not acquired in less than 3 years.
  • Certificate in Counselling would be an added advantage.

Leads, supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the EBCCN, and provides strategic direction for the development and provision of support services in the implementation of projects and in order to ensure the achievement of planned targets and the effective and transparent execution of the financial resources of the project. Reports directly to the Executive Director and has 4 direct reports:

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Support in the implementation of grants under Programs

1.1 Provides leadership in the implementation of the Project by ensuring that adequate systems are in place for the effective and efficient implementation of grants;

1.2 Supervises and provides technical support and guidance to the Programs team;

1.3 Facilitates the coordination between the programs and other units within EBCCN;

1.4 Participate in technical committees on Cancer and share updates with staff as required;

1.5 Ensure that all projects are properly planned and adequate controls are put in place. The Finance and Admin office must be contacted to provide guidance on Financial Risk;

1.6 Coordinates the preparation of reports, including the Progress Update and Disbursement Requests, Enhanced Financial Reports, Annual Reports and any ad hoc reports, for the timely submission to the donors;

2. Partnership and resource mobilization

2.1 Coordinates relationships with other strategic partners to ensure transparent and efficient implementation of the programs, and mobilizing appropriate acceleration and scale-up efforts of the programs;

2.2 Maintains close co-ordination between the ECPT program and other Cancer initiatives to ensure and promote hi building, avoids duplication of programmatic activities and provides feedback on continuity, partners p effective complementary activities;

2.3 Maintain effective relationships and communication with the MOH, ECPT Partners and donors;

3. Management  and  Leadership 

3.1 Builds strong relationships with other implementing partners, focuses on impact and result for the implementing partners and responds positively to feedback;

4. EBCCN Operational Plan

4.1 In conjunction with the EBCCN team ensures the development, implementation and Monitoring of the Annual Plans.

5. Funding Proposals 

5.1 Provides Leadership and technical support to the development of all EBCCN funding proposals.

6. Other EBCCN Activities

5.1 Supports the Executive Director in executing governance principles and practices.

Education / Qualification Required:

  • A Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or development field or field;
  • 3 — 5 Years’ experience in Program Management
  • 3 years’ experience in Senior management position
  • A master’s Degree and an experience in Cancer Program Management would be an added advantage and Light Duty Driver’s License.
