Applications are required from candidates with an Occupational Therapist Degree from a reputable institution.
To ensure that all the children’s special conditions, and occupational therapy needs are met.
To ensure excellent training and guidance for caregivers how to support children with special needs ensuring that all decisions are made in the best interests of the child.
To liaise with other health care professionals for appropriate care interventions and/or referrals.
To be a team player and ensure that the quality of care is within the frameworks and standards of the Bulembu Child Care.
One should be a mature Christian.
One should be a holder of an Occupational Therapist Degree.
Have strong leadership, innovative and interpersonal abilities.
Experience of at least 5 years working with children, young people and families.
Have done practical work with children and young people with special needs.
Excellent understanding of local and international legislations within child care context.
MS Office Efficiency, Administrative and report writing skills are crucial.
A stable social and emotional family situation.
The position requires the Occupational Therapist to live within the Community.
