PROCUREMENT OFFICER (x1)

Manages and implement strategic sourcing techniques, supplier development and procurement, contracts management, stores and outbound logistics. Further, provides a value-add commercial service that meets the demands of NAMBoard while maintain high stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Performance Areas The candidate will be responsible for:

• Drafting commercial agreements including supplier service level agreements and tender documents, reviewing same in line with the procurement policy and existing laws. Will further negotiate service agreements and leases ensuring best price for optimal value to NAMBoard. Conduct efficient and collaborative procurements (tendering, evaluation award and contracts management) which are corporately compliant, regularly conducting supplier assessments to ensure suppliers meet company and legal requirements.

• Ensures that goods and services are delivered timeously in line with price, quantity and quality specifications, coordinating the management of outbound logistics, stock movements, delivery scheduling plans, handling and delivery.

• Manages the procurement budget of NAMBoard according to annual operational plan monitoring fixed and variable costs, maintaining accurate auditable records and documentation of all procurement processes which result in high process compliance. Will further identify and fully utilize cost effective and efficient systems of inventory, stock validation, replenishment plans and drive the stock reduction process.

• Prepares timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual procurement reports, attend project, committee and strategic meetings and provide a secretarial service to all Tender Committee meetings.

• Managing subordinate’s performance through facilitating reviews and appraisals, implementing corrective measures where required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

• 4 years’ Procurement experience of which at least 5 years must be in a senior managerial position.

• Knowledge in procurement procedures and systems with a good understanding of contracts management.


IT OFFICER (x1)

Responsible for all the IT systems at NAMBoard, overseeing installation, ensuring

• backup systems operate effectively, purchasing hardware and software, providing the ICT technology infrastructures for the organization and contributing to organizational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning.

Key Performance Areas The candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing input aligned to the unit and organizational IT Strategy

• Developing, reviewing and implementing departmental IT systems, processes and procedures

• Providing Technical end user support and advice to NAMBoard Management.

• Financial compliance to company’s financial and procurement practices policies and procedures

• Conducting Risk assessment with management heads and key staff members to minimise risks

• Managing of system maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology and or Post Graduate qualification in Information Technology

• 7 years relevant experience in IT support and operations

• Knowledge in IT Operations and Infrastructure, Business Analysis and Risk Mitigation.

• Excellent in Problem solving and Strategic Planning Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good coordination and leadership skills.
