Overview

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the vacant position of Water Loss Technician in the Technical Services Department.

MAIN PURPOSE

To capture, monitor and audit data relating to water losses on the water network system; and to provide practical and accessible solutions to reducing Non-Revenue water.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years HND in Civil Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Water Technology.

• 2 years’ experience in a similar field.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Fluid dynamics (H2O)

• Water network analysis

• GIS/CAD, GPS

• Zoning

• WHO, EEA, ESWASA regulations & other international standards

• information processing

• Accuracy, attention to detail

• Computer literacy

• Map reading.

• Presentation skills

• Results driven
