DEPUTY HEAD PRIMARY SCHOOL
Enjabulweni Independent School is a leading, co-educational, independent school situated on a beautiful campus five minutes from the centre of Manzini. Enjabulweni wishes to appoint a Deputy Head for the Primary School, who will report to the Head of School.
The preferred candidate will have experience working in the unique characteristics of an ISASA and IEB PSI school, a strong academic and leadership background, be able to enhance discipline, student’s welfare and academic innovation.
The successful applicant will:
- Have personal values that resonate with the Vision and Mission of Enjabulweni School.
- Have an appropriate degree (B.Ed/ Bachelor’s degree )or/and professional teaching qualification ( Grad. CE; PGCE; PGDE) with the minimum of five years’ teaching experience.
- Experience as an HoD or Deputy essential.
- Have a passion for leadership and lifelong learning, personal and professional development.
- Be innovative, creative and proactive.
- Have a clear understanding and acceptance of Enjabulweni Values.
- Have a passion for independent education and teaching excellence.
- Have exposure to best universal practice, to international benchmarking and the requirements pertaining to the IEB PSI curriculum.
- Have a high level of organisational, administrative and communication skills.
- Have an understanding of budget management and financial planning for primary schools.
- Be a team player with sound communication, inter-personal and leadership skills.
- Have a track record of academic excellence.
- Maintain a high level of discipline yet be compassionate and understanding.
- Be technologically literate and willing to continue learning.
- Have working knowledge of Ed Admin.
- Have a good understanding of blended learning and AI in education.
- Enthusiastically participate in the extra mural programme.
