Job Summary
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, governing, and continuously optimizing the integrated production schedule for CPS Conco to effectively balance demand, supply, inventory, and manufacturing capacity.
The role leads the Master Production Schedule (MPS), coordinates the monthly cross-functional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, drives end-to-end supply chain execution, delivers planning analytics and reporting, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Master Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, own, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by balancing demand, capacity, materials, and inventory requirements.
- Optimize production schedules to support finite capacity planning, sequencing, schedule adherence, and production line utilization.
- Manage schedule changes arising from forecast adjustments, supply disruptions, or operational constraints.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Leadership
- Lead the monthly S&OP process and facilitate cross-functional planning reviews.
- Develop supply scenarios and provide executive recommendations that balance customer service levels, cost, and capacity requirements.
End-to-End Supply Chain Orchestration & Execution
- Collaborate with Materials Operations, Logistics, Customer Management, and Production teams to support optimized planning activities.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to identify and mitigate supply risks and capacity constraints.
Production Planning Optimization
- Drive planning optimization initiatives, parameter reviews, inventory optimization, and throughput improvements.
- Own and manage SAP master data related to planning parameters and materials management.
Planning Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Develop dashboards using SAP, IBP, and Power BI tools.
- Deliver KPI reporting, scenario modelling, planning analytics, and executive insights to support business decision-making.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead automation and standardisation initiatives across planning functions.
- Develop business cases and conduct root cause analysis to improve planning effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Drive planning excellence initiatives across the supply chain.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Data Science
- Applied Mathematics
- Or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Production Planning or Master Scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Experience using SAP ERP, SAP IBP/APO, or equivalent planning systems.
