Job Summary
The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations Finance (SAF) to support the financial operations of the South Africa Franchise Finance team. The successful candidate will help drive financial strategy, business growth, and profitability while partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver strategic financial insights and decision support.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations Finance Lead (SAF), the role is part of a team of six finance professionals supporting the South Africa Franchise.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Decision Support
- Partner with stakeholders across Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Marketing, Technical, Operations, Strategy, and other business functions.
- Support investment decisions, business model development, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
- Develop business cases in collaboration with franchise and system stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights to support business performance and system financial health.
Business Performance Analysis
- Integrate financial, operational, and consumer data to generate business insights and recommendations.
- Support business performance reviews and monitor financial outcomes.
- Conduct post-investment and after-action reviews.
- Monitor profit and loss (P&L) risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyse market trends across channels and product categories to support strategic planning.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting
- Support forecasting, rolling estimates, budgeting, and actual performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with global and local financial reporting timelines.
- Manage financial planning processes from SKU-level analysis through to consolidated P&L reporting.
Team Contribution
- Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust.
- Support continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and tools.
- Contribute to the development of team capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial planning or commercial finance.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
