VACANCY: FITTER

Location

Reporting to the Production/Maintenance Team Leader, the incumbent will form part of the Cementitious Eswatini team and will be based at Matsapha.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Executing maintenance schedules and other maintenance tasks.
• Repairing breakdowns on assigned equipment to reduce production stoppage time.
• Fault finding of complex electrical boards and equipment.
• Participating in, contributing and executing cost saving initiatives, maintenance and equipment availability improvement programmes.

Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience required:

1. Minimum N3 with recognized Fitter Trade Qualification.
2. Minimum 4 years’ experience in heavy industries.
3. Experience in using typical fitter tools and equipment.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic communication, numeric and literacy skills.
• Basic product knowledge.
• Ability to satisfy in full the requirements of the Code of Practice for fitness.
