Bakery Technical Advisor |
| Purpose |
- Provide bakery training and advice to ADE retail clients
- Work closely with the ADE Technical Team to ensure correct preparation of products for retail clients
- Implement extension of product recipes and innovation
|
| Minimum Qualifications |
- Form 5 or Matric Certificate or equivalent
- Craft Baking NQF1
- Basics in Fermented Baking and Confectionery
|
| Knowledge & Skills |
- Basic food preparation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving ability and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
|
| Experience & Training |
- 5 years minimum experience in a bakery production function
- 5 years minimum experience in Craft and Retail Baking
- Valid Light Duty Drivers’ License
|
| Duties & Responsibilities |
- Implement technical training schedule aligned to Client/Outlet Target Model at an agreed rank coverage
- Provide continued training of clients’ staff and demonstration of product range across all ADE retail clients
- Prepare monthly pre-call schedule of activities and maintain a map of daily detailed reports on products demonstration conducted
