CARPENTER

The Eswatini Electricity Company is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant role of Carpenter. This position reports to the Property Officer under the Corporate Service Division.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Recognized Trade Test Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
• A National Certificate or Diploma in Building / Construction will be an added advantage.
• A valid driver’s license.

• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in construction and general maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of building maintenance systems, including basic plumbing, electrical, and civil works.

MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out carpentry work and providing general maintenance support across facilities. The role requires a hands-on individual capable of diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and supporting broader maintenance activities where necessary.
