Job Purpose
Manage employee and industrial relations, support labour-law compliance, strengthen union-management engagement, and ensure effective resolution of employee-relations matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor industrial-relations incidents and provide trend analysis to reduce risks.
- Develop, review, update and monitor Human Capital policies.
- Provide policy guidance and interpretation to management and employees.
- Advise the business on labour-law judgments and their operational impact.
- Resolve employee disputes, grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Support collective-bargaining processes.
- Compile periodic reports on grievances, disciplinary matters, employee relations, industrial relations and staff engagements.
- Build constructive union relationships through regular Union-Management engagements.
- Follow up on agreed union-management actions.
- Lead, coach and supervise staff to achieve departmental objectives.
