Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Finance Business Partner – Agriculture within the Business Planning & Reporting Department of the Finance Division.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Manager – Business Planning & Reporting, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the divisional annual budgeting process.
• Providing financial input into the Five-Year Business Plan financial model.
• Preparing and coordinating forecast revisions throughout the financial year.
• Coordinating interim and year-end financial close reporting requirements.
• Monitoring and reporting on external contractual arrangements and auxiliary business areas.
• Managing, coaching, and developing subordinate staff to achieve departmental objectives.
• Promoting a high-performance culture through effective people management.
• Partnering with business units and operational teams to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions, and support sound commercial decision-making.
• Driving finance process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting.
• Honours Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as:
  • CA(SA)
  • CIMA
  • ACCA

Experience

• Minimum of six (6) years’ post-qualification experience in management accounting.
• Experience in an agribusiness and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting skills will be an added advantage.
