Job Purpose

The Human Resources Business Partner will assist in delivering the HR Strategy to address identified business challenges and improve operational efficiencies throughout the employee lifecycle. The position is also responsible for facilitating culture transformation and building a positive employee experience through improved processes and new initiatives to drive motivation and optimise performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the HR strategy by partnering with business units to align HR and business strategies.

  • Coordinate training programmes, track budgets and ensure cost efficiency.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, guidelines and HR metrics.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports.

  • Perform timely and accurate payroll processes while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.

  • Administer payroll and maintain staff records on the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

  • Contribute to talent management, succession planning and employee retention initiatives, including conditions of employment.

  • Perform day-to-day HR administration and operational duties across the organisation.

  • Act as custodian of the FSRA performance management process and system.

  • Support and institutionalise the FSRA’s core values and corporate culture.

  • Coordinate end-to-end learning and development programmes, including learning needs analysis, programme design and evaluation, coaching, mentoring, leadership development, staff training plans and budgets.

  • Facilitate the full recruitment and selection process.

  • Coordinate induction, orientation, onboarding, integration and offboarding of employees, including record-keeping.

  • Administer the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, accurate staff records, filing and leave administration.

  • Collaborate with the Wellness Committee to design, coordinate and administer employee wellness programmes.

  • Assist with employee engagement, team-building and recognition initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Social Sciences or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ human resources experience, including at least 1 year in payroll and benefits processing and administration.

  • Extensive exposure to employee relations, performance management, recruitment and Human Resources Information Systems.

  • Experience in change management and performance management is an added advantage.
