MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Southern Trading Company (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician.

Job Purpose

To carry out general maintenance of the site and key work equipment, with a specific focus on:

• Electrical work
• Plumbing
• Landscaping
• Attending to faults and installations
• Welding
• Carpentry
• Painting duties

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related qualification
• Must have Trade Test Certification
• FMCG or related work experience required
• Basic knowledge of welding, carpentry, and plumbing skills will be an added advantage
• Sound knowledge of maintenance tools

• Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot
• Above-average literacy levels
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to a complex work environment
