MERCHANDISER OPPORTUNITIES

Locations: Big Bend, Siteki, Mpaka, Nkonyeni, Buhleni, Simunye, Nsoko, Hluthi, Piggs Peak, Hlatikhulu, Nhlangano, Tjaneni, Lavumisa, Siphofaneni and Mankanyane

Purpose of the Position

Maintain shelf health in assigned outlets.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Previous merchandising experience is advantageous
• Smartphone ownership
• Technological proficiency

• Self-driven; able to work with minimal supervision
• Proactive and detail-oriented
• Good numeracy and logical-thinking skills
• Able to follow instructions and retain details
• Able to perform manual work and stand for extended periods

Key Responsibilities

• Stock shelves according to client layouts, allocated space, forward share and sales rate.
• Place products in the correct categories.
• Keep shelves and displayed products clean.
• Monitor stock levels; report shortages and short-dated products.
• Rotate stock by expiry date in both shelves and storerooms to reduce damage-related losses.
• Conduct stock counts and report discrepancies or shortages.
• Assist with offloading Logico delivery trucks.
• Remove damaged stock and store it neatly in designated damage cages.
• Ensure price flashes and PI labels are visible and current.
• Implement in-store promotions, including POS materials, displays and competitions, as instructed.
