NURSING ACTIVITY MANAGER

MSF is recruiting for the following position for its Project in Matsapha/Manzini:

Position: Nursing Activity Manager

📍 Duty Station: Matsapha/Manzini
📌 Number of Positions: 1
⏰ Employment Type: Full-Time (100%)


Main Purpose

To define, coordinate, and monitor all nursing and care-related activities within the project while ensuring effective management of human resources in accordance with MSF nursing protocols, standards, and procedures to guarantee efficiency, quality, and continuity of patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize all nursing-related activities including IPD, OPD, maternity, and nutrition services.
  • Coordinate and supervise implementation of legal therapeutic protocols, procedures, and standards.
  • Supervise nutritional activities to ensure therapeutic food meets quality and quantity standards.
  • Ensure proper use of administrative procedures, patient records, and data management tools.
  • Supervise pharmacy activities in collaboration with the Pharmacist and Medco.
  • Coordinate proper use of medical devices and communicate future equipment needs.
  • Supervise laboratory outputs related to nursing activities.
  • Plan and supervise recruitment, training, evaluation, and development of nursing staff.
  • Provide daily clinical supervision to nursing staff within the SRH Clinic.
  • Ensure accurate patient documentation and data collection through audits and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Health Promotion Manager to facilitate efficient patient flow and service delivery.
  • Strengthen internal referral systems to minimize missed clinical opportunities.
  • Participate in monthly reports and ensure SOPs, protocols, and guidelines are maintained.

Requirements

Education

  • Essential nursing diploma for general or specialized health services.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing is desirable.
  • Specialization or training in tropical medicine is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing-related activities.
  • Experience with MSF or other NGOs in developing countries is desirable.

Languages

  • English (Essential)
  • Siswati (Desirable)

Knowledge

  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
