Location: Piggs Peak
A well-established cable-drum manufacturing company seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee its manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate manufacturing departments.
- Ensure efficient production and operational performance.
- Maintain relationships with contract customers.
- Monitor operating costs and budgets.
- Drive productivity, efficiency and quality improvements.
- Lead employees and production teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in production or manufacturing.
- National Diploma in Manufacturing, Production Management, Operations Management or related field.
- Timber-packaging sector experience is advantageous.
- Previous management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
Requirements
- Strong people-management and relationship-building skills.
- Proven production and manufacturing-management experience.
- Sales and marketing experience is advantageous.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be based in Piggs Peak and willing to travel when required.
