ABOUT THE ROLE
CBRE Excellerate is seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join its Facilities Management team at a client site in Matshapha, Eswatini.
The Plumber will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of plumbing systems, ensuring that all plumbing infrastructure operates effectively and efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or equivalent qualification/certification in Plumbing or a related field.
- Necessary plumbing certification or licence as required by local regulations in Eswatini.
- Proficiency in English.
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a plumber, preferably in facilities management.
- Experience managing plumbing systems in commercial or large residential facilities is preferred.
- Experience responding to plumbing emergencies.
- Strong knowledge of water supply, drainage and gas systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to maintain pumps, water heaters, toilets and pipes.
- Familiarity with plumbing hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and fittings.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
- Conduct regular plumbing system inspections.
- Maintain water supply, drainage and sanitation systems.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to emergency plumbing repairs.
- Work with the Facilities Management team to schedule maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations and preventive maintenance.
