
FNB Eswatini is seeking a results-driven and client-focused Private Banker to proactively manage and grow a portfolio of Wealth Clients. The successful candidate will identify clients’ financial needs, provide tailored banking and wealth solutions, deepen client relationships, and drive long-term profitability and client retention.

JOB PURPOSE
To proactively manage and optimise a defined portfolio of Wealth Clients by identifying and addressing their financial needs through tailored solutions. The role focuses on deepening client relationships, ensuring profitability, and maintaining long-term client retention through consistent engagement, financial insights, and collaboration with internal specialists.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow revenue by expanding an existing client portfolio and acquiring new Wealth clients.
- Analyse clients’ current banking products and recommend suitable financial solutions.
- Position FNB as the client’s primary banking institution.
- Promote Transactional Banking and Wealth Lending solutions, including:
- Overdrafts
- Single Home Loans
- Multiple Property Mortgages
- Commercial Property Finance
- Share-Based Lending
- Implement, monitor, and report on client campaigns and initiatives.
- Track and manage sales activities to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling specialist services such as:
- Wealth Management
- Fiduciary Services
- Portfolio Management
- Grow and manage the active customer account base.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive and innovative solutions.
- Maintain regular client engagement to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Produce accurate sales reports using Siebel.
- Ensure compliance with all governance, legislative, risk, and audit requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours in:
- Investment Management
- Finance
- Economics
Preferred Qualification
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
Experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in:
- Financial Services
- Financial Planning
- Wealth Management
- Client-facing financial advisory roles
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Strong understanding of money management principles.
- Sound knowledge of Banking and Financial Services.
- Knowledge of hospitality and customer service principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong client relationships through empathy and professionalism.

- Ability to recommend suitable financial products based on client needs.
