1. Job Purpose

To design, develop, maintain, integrate and support enterprise applications and systems that enable business operations, contributing to software and mobile development, enterprise integration, DevOps and application security within Agile project environments.

2. Key Responsibilities

2.1 Software & Mobile Development

Develop, test, deploy and maintain enterprise applications on Microsoft .NET, plus mobile applications and backend services.
Build secure, scalable APIs and web services.
Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements and maintain technical documentation.

2.2 Enterprise Integration

Develop and support integrations with banking systems, payment platforms and third-party applications using RESTful APIs and SOAP services.
Support real-time and batch processes and resolve integration issues.
Support integrations with mainframe applications including data exchange.

2.3 DevOps, Automation & Security

Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test and release processes.
Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools.
Apply SSDLC principles, implement authentication, authorization, encryption and data protection, and take part in security reviews and vulnerability remediation.

3. Minimum Qualifications

Degree (mandatory): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.
Certification (Added Advantage): Certification in C#, Java, Python, SQL, or any other recognised programming certification.

4. Minimum Experience

3 years’ software development experience including Microsoft .NET framework and relational databases (SQL, PostGreSQL).
APIs and enterprise integrations (banking, payment or enterprise systems).
DevOps/CI/CD, secure development and Agile delivery.
Added Advantage: Mainframe-connected environments.

5. Technical Skills

Programming & Development

.NET Framework / Modern .NET, ASP.NET Core.
JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
Mobile application development.

Integration

REST, SOAP, SOA.
Banking, payment and enterprise systems integration.

DevOps

Git, Azure DevOps Server, CI/CD.
Build and release management.
Automated testing.

Security

SSDLC, secure coding.
OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect.
API security.
Vulnerability remediation.

AI-Assisted Development

AI coding assistants.
Agentic programming tools.
Development automation.
