
The Institute of Development Management invites applications from suitably qualified and creative candidates with marketing experience to execute campaigns, deliver on business growth in the Marketing Department in line with established marketing policies and procedures to facilitate reporting and compliance. The position reports to the Marketing Manager.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for delivering marketing strategies, creating compelling content for social media and managing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to drive engagement and sales.
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities
- Execute student recruitment campaigns and outreach activities
- Coordinate school visits, national exhibitions and career fairs
- Manage prospective student follow-ups and lead generation
- Support corporate relations and partnership engagements
- Coordinate campus events, activations and internal campaigns
- Content development for social media and social media management
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports
- Handle day-to-day departmental administration
- Promotional material ordering and stock management
- Liaise with faculties and departments on marketing needs
- Support alumni and student engagement initiatives
- Creative writing
- Execute surveys and reporting
Education and Experience
- Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
- Experience: 3 years’ experience in a marketing role
