1. PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Management
Reports To: Head of Supply Chain
Job Level: Management
Supervises: Procurement Officers

Job Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and professional management of the organisation’s procurement function, ensuring timely, transparent, high-quality, cost-effective and compliant acquisition of goods, services and works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the annual procurement strategy and plan.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process.
  • Manage competitive bidding and tender processes.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance.
  • Negotiate and oversee procurement contracts.
  • Ensure cost optimisation and value for money.
  • Ensure procurement governance and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable procurement records.
  • Prepare procurement reports, expenditure analysis and dashboards.
  • Provide statutory procurement reports to the regulator.
  • Coordinate procurement audits and corrective actions.
  • Provide professional procurement advice to management.
  • Lead, develop and manage the procurement team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration or related field.
  • Professional procurement/supply chain qualification such as CIPS and membership of a recognised professional body preferred.
  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant procurement/supply chain experience.
  • At least 4 years’ experience at management/supervisory level.
  • Experience in strategic procurement, tender management, supplier and contract management, compliance, negotiations and risk management.

2. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Director Corporate Services
Job Level: Management
Supervises: HR Officers

Job Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and professional management of the Human Resources function, ensuring the organisation has the appropriate people, capabilities, systems, policies and employee practices required to achieve its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the HR strategy, annual HR plan and workforce plans.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, appointments, onboarding, probation and succession planning.
  • Provide leadership on grievances, disciplinary matters and employee relations.
  • Drive effective performance management.
  • Lead training needs analysis, career development and succession initiatives.
  • Provide oversight on remuneration, benefits and salary administration.
  • Develop and implement Occupational Health & Safety programmes, including alignment with ISO 45001.
  • Promote employee wellness, engagement and organisational culture.
  • Develop HR policies and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
  • Advise management on organisational structures, job design and change management.
  • Provide HR reports, workforce analytics and strategic insights.
  • Coordinate HR audits and manage HR-related risks.
  • Lead, develop and manage the HR team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, LLB or a related field.
  • Relevant professional HR qualification/membership is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant HR experience.
  • At least 3 years’ experience at management/supervisory level.
  • Experience in HR strategy, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training and development, and HR governance.
