SECURITY COMPLIANCE TECHNICIAN (FTC)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for appointment to the above position that has arisen in the Finance Function, reporting to the Network & Systems Engineer. This is a 6 months fixed term contract position.
Key Performance Areas
- Monitor systems for threats and assist in incident investigation, reporting, and resolution.
- Perform internal audits, support external audits, and ensure adherence to security standards and policies.
- Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps, and support remediation efforts.
- Maintain, update, and support security technologies, ensuring systems are patched and operational.
- Enforce IT security policies, procedures, and access controls.
- Oversee user onboarding, role changes, terminations, and permissions to ensure secure access control.
- Maintain compliance records and produce reports on security posture, incidents, and audits.
- Track IT assets movements, process change control forms, support periodic asset audits and maintain an accurate assets database.
- Ensure secure backup processes and monitor cloud systems to safeguard organizational data.
- Educate users on IT Policies, procedures, cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
- Work with IT teams and vendors to strengthen security controls and processes.
Job Requirements
- O’ Level Certificate
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA CySA+
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in IT Security
- Valid driver’s licence
