VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Short-Term Refrigeration Technical Data Collector
The EEA, through its National Ozone Unit, seeks to engage qualified refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) practitioners to conduct data collection to support the National Inventory of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) and HFCs – advancing Eswatini’s commitments under the Montreal Protocol and Kigali Amendment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct field data collection in facilities with RAC equipment
- Identify and record refrigerant equipment and types (HCFCs, HFCs) and quantities in the country
- Document used/unwanted refrigerants in equipment and cylinders
- Complete inventory forms and support national compliance reporting
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified and practising RAC technician or practitioner
- Experience in installation/maintenance of RAC systems
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling and Good Servicing Practices
- Strong data recording and communication skills
- ERACA affiliation is an added advantage
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Nature: Short-Term / Temporary Contract
- Duration: 1 month
- Location: Nationwide (travel required)
- Training: Provided by EEA prior to deployment
