Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for managing procurement processes across the National Office, Technical Programs, Area Programs, and grant projects. The role ensures compliance with World Vision policies and donor guidelines while promoting transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase Requisition
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions
- Verify existing contracts and framework agreements
- Update requisitions with appropriate documentation in line with procurement policies
- Utilize procurement plans for strategic sourcing
2. Sourcing
- Solicit quotations and consolidate bids
- Prepare documentation for Procurement Committee review
3. Orders Management
- Dispatch approved purchase orders, contracts, and framework agreements
- Track delivery progress and update weekly order reports
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
4. Expediting
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Manage and verify supplier samples
- Coordinate with warehouses/offices on receipt of goods
- Track deliveries against purchase orders
5. Payments
- Request supplier statements and manage outstanding invoices
- Submit required documentation to Finance for payment processing
6. Other Duties
- Participate in daily devotions and weekly chapel services
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (minimum)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement/Logistics (preferred)
- CIPS certification is an added advantage
- 2–3 years’ experience in procurement/logistics/supply chain
- Experience with automated procurement systems is an advantage

Additional Requirements
- Must be a committed Christian

- Ability to travel (approx. 10% domestic travel required)
