2. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Investigations

• Conduct high-level and complex tax investigations allocated by the Manager.

Anti-Money Laundering and Terror Financing

• Facilitate and participate in the Task Force on Money Laundering investigation forum, including taking part in the subcommittees of the Task Force.

Stakeholder Relationship Maintenance

• Participate in joint ventures with other stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies and Anti-Money Laundering and Terror Financing (AML/TF) bodies.

Documentation

• Gather supporting documentation and evidence.

• Prepare files for reporting criminal cases to the Royal Eswatini Police Service.

Court Sessions

• Draft sworn affidavits to support criminal cases to be presented in court.

Reporting and Unit Management

• Draft monthly reports on operational activities.

• Report accurately.

4. Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum:

– Degree in Accounting, LLB or equivalent.

Advantageous:

• Certificate in Forensic Investigation.

• Certificate in Money Laundering Investigation.

Experience Required

Minimum:

– Three (3) years’ experience in a law enforcement or tax environment.
