2. Position: ICT & Computer Science Teacher

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an innovative and dynamic approach to the teaching of ICT, Computer Studies and Computer Science across the relevant high school grades.

3. Duties and Competencies

• Commitment to subject-related duties and activities.

• An understanding of, and working knowledge of, the IEB-ISC curriculum and procedures would be an advantage.

• Ability to deliver ICDL modules effectively, including practical computer-based instruction and assessment.

• Ability to teach Computer Studies and Computer Science, integrating relevant practical and digital learning activities.

• Excellent computer literacy, with the ability to use various electronic learning platforms to support teaching and learning.

• Good collaboration and communication skills with learners, colleagues and parents, and willingness to participate in the full school program including sports and extra-curricular activities.

4. Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree with an appropriate teaching qualification in ICT, Computer Science, Computer Studies or a related field.

• Demonstrable ability to teach ICDL modules and prepare learners for practical assessments.

• Teaching experience in Computer Studies and/or Computer Science at high school level.

• An understanding of the IEB-ISC curriculum; experience teaching or assessing at IEB, NSC or Cambridge level would be an advantage.

• The ability to teach Mathematics at high school level would be an added advantage.
