We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to support distribution and inventory operations within our manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for order preparation, inventory control, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations in line with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Order Preparation
- Prepare customer orders in line with weekly shipping schedules
- Pick, pack, label, shrink-wrap, and load products for dispatch
- Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time
- Utilize scanning systems to maintain order accuracy
Inventory Management
- Receive and reconcile inventory from production
- Store products in correct warehouse locations
- Apply FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP
Warehouse Operations & Compliance
- Conduct cycle counts and report discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and security standards
- Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of warehouse equipment
- Perform basic equipment checks and forklift inspections
- Support productivity initiatives such as 5S and continuous improvement
Health, Safety & Quality
- Adhere to occupational health, safety, and environmental standards
- Report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults promptly
- Ensure all work practices meet food safety and quality requirements
Minimum Requirements
- O’ Level Certificate; technical tertiary education is an advantage
- Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of SAP systems
- Valid forklift operator license
- Computer literacy and strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required
- Understanding of Swazi industrial and business environment
