QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must possess the following:
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
- Grade 1 Trade Test Certificate.
- Five (5) years Apprenticeship Certificate.
- Five (5) yearsβ experience at Grade 1 level in the Automotive Industry.
- Heavy Duty Driverβs License.
- Knowledge of Electrical Systems.
- Familiarity with Tractors and Farm Implements.
KEY DUTIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting routine maintenance of University vehicles.
- Diagnosing and analysing vehicle faults.
- Overhauling engines, transmissions, and repairing electrical systems.
- Attending to vehicle breakdowns and carrying out road tests.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
- One (1) year contract, with the possibility of renewal by mutual consent, subject to satisfactory performance.
